Dog sled exhibition. Prior to the exhibition we were allowed to
pet the dogs. They all were affectionate
and enjoyed the attention.

heading south toward Homer I finally got a glimpse of Denali. The white mountain

We spent two nights in
this biker bar/motel. Ralph had some
work to catch up on and I had some sleep to catch up on. So, by this point in our trip, I had slept
out back behind the bar in Chicken, Alaska, slept in a greenhouse in Fairbanks
and now I was sleeping over the bar. I
wondered just when I would rest my head for the night inside the bar……
