Beautiful road but very, very narrow, especially when meeting a large RV or tractor trailer.

The scenery on Highway 99 from Cache Creek to Whistler changed from scrub land and canyons to mountains, wild rushing streams and deep green lakes.  The road is very narrow and winding and in most places where the road crosses a creek or wild rushing river, the road narrows down to a one lane bridge.  By the time we reached this lake the rain had moved in and we rode into Whistler in the pouring rain.

We set up camp in the pouring rain.  Grizzle Bear is drenched and foul.  We gathered grub from the camp store and rushed back to the tent to make ham and cheese sandwiches.

While we waited for our gear to dry out from the previous days heavy rain, we watched the mountain bikers jump and fly down the mountain.  During winter, skiing, during summer, mountain biking.

On a different lift young skiers were being lifted to the glacier for snowboarding.

This group of young men had just finished the trip down the mountain and were comparing notes.
