We stopped for a break at
this pullout as Ralph had a little “work” to do for a client. Cell and internet signal was great.
While Ralph worked I took
photos. In very bad need of a set of
tires for my bike, we left Highway 1 and headed inland to

cool river. The heat was blistering and the river called to me. I obliged.
We were so hot that we
took the opportunity to soak our riding jackets and helmets in the mountain
