The building to view the
dinosaur bones was three sided, using the excavated wall full of bones as the
fourth side.

Not only was the dinosaur quarry
extremely interesting, the entire park was filled with rich geologic diversity.
Canyons, rivers and mountains broken and pushed up at odd
angles exposing fossils from a time when oceans and lakes covered the area.

We took one of the gravel
roads back into the Tilted Rocks and found petroglyphs
from an ancient civilization.

Homestead of Josie Morris,
who at age 40, built this cabin in 1914.
She lived the rest of her life here until the age of 90 when her horse bumped
her causing her to fall and break her hip.

We took in the local rodeo
one night while in Steamboat Springs. We
took a few days rest as Ralph had work to do.
We found out that in any library across the country, internet connection
was available. While Ralph worked, I
read or shopped. Good deal, huh?
